NO BUG: Resetting the style in the grid does not remove loop item custom CSS

Browser: Chrome 137.0.7151.69
OS: Windows

Hi,

I’m not sure if this is a bug or expected behavior, but when we reset the grid, the css of the items still remain. Maybe the expected behavior is that when we reset the grid, the css of the items are also removed.

loop item custom css for grid

Hi @HOSEIN,

I can’t see in the video, but at what point did you reset the grid?

Hi matej,

After I edited the grid items, I reset the grid, but the custom grid css still remains. Is the GIF playing broken for you?

Hi,

the GIF is working - I’ve watched it multiple times, but focused on Visual Grid Builder Popup. I thought you will click “Reset grid” there.

But no, if you “reset” grid using the yellow dot next to the display, then it will only reset that settings, not the full grid styles. It would be the same if you would manually type the custom CSS.

Please let me know if it’s understandable

Yes, it’s completely understandable. I thought it would make sense that if we reset the Grid, the custom CSS generated by bricks would also be automatically deleted. Because when the Grid is not there, those CSSs will be useless and will remain. Although we can easily remove it.

Anyway, I agree that this is not a bug.

Thank you
