Ok a weird bug maybe but a user of bricksdesignset cannot load the templates of bricksdesignset.com
I looked at the url and it is correct. Pressed the refresh button. I downgraded the theme to 1.5.3 but nothing works. Do you guys maybe know where it could be?
Is specifically about this website https://loadweb.de/
I don’t hear other users about it yet.
Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce the issue (tested on three different installations/servers).
Accordingly, it is difficult to say what the problem could be…
I reported my problem to Daney and he posted it in the forum. I tested remote templates with a different hosting provider and it works perfectly. Could it have something to do with default secrurity measurements activated by my hosting provider?
Restrict access to files and directories
Block directory search (Can be reset)
Block unauthorized access to “wp-config.php” (Can be reset)
Disable PHP execution in cache directories (Can be reset)
Change the default prefix of database tables
Block access to sensitive files (Can be reset)
Hey @Laidbackluke ,
Welcome to the forum, and thanks for the additional information. Can you access the standard community templates (https://bricksbuilder.io), or does the problem only occur with Daney’s templates?
Same issue here. Templates don’t work on certain sites. There doesn’t appear to be a ryhme or reason why these templates don’t work which makes everything harder.
After a long discussion with my hosting company, they figured out where the problem is, the hosting where the bricksdesignset.com site is located, with unknown reasons is blocking communication with some servers. My hosting moved my site to a server that was not affected by this blockage and the templates are working. Why this blockage is happening is a question for the hosting company where the domain bricksdesignset.com is located.
I have contacted my hosting provider, what they say is that if you are on a shared hosting that is suspected of sending malware then my hosting provider blocks the connection. What you can do about this is move to a better hosting provider, or ask if they can move you to another server.
