I seem to be struggling with an accordion within a CPT query. I have a Therapist CPT which is being queried to show different therapist cards. Within each therapist card, I have services being queried within an accordion. No matter the settings I put, the accordions are always open. Not sure if this is a known bug, I see similar-ish problems in the forums but back in 2022 and they all seemed to have been resolved.
Try adding in a container. The accordion seems to listen to the structure really tight and i fought the thing myself and this is how i have it working.

I can’t replicate the issue locally. Can you make sure that “Expand item indexes” control is empty?
You can also copy-paste the top section here, so I can test it with your structure/settings directly.

I tried this and messed around with settings again. No luck.
Hey I’m not sure how you would like to me upload it. I have a .json for the section template but can’t upload it here. When I simply copy paste the section I end up with a lot of symbols so I don’t think that’s what you’re looking for?
I don’t want to be annoying, just to really make sure there’s a container between accordion and item with the query on the container instead of the item like from your first image.
I had all kind of weird stuff happening in any other way. Spend hours trying to get it work, and this is the only way it worked.

As another test, I added another item to my accordion that was non-query, and it stays closed on page load as desired:

Hey, that’s exactly the JSON I’m looking for. But, when you paste it here, you need to select it, and then click the “Preformatted text” icon. It will wrap the JSON in three backticks, and it should look ok.

Hi @Dawson,
it seems like the issue is “display:grid” on the “content” element inside the accordion.
If you want to set the content as grid, you should wrap the inner elements inside the new element (block), and then set the display:grid there.
This is because we hide/show the content based on the open/close status, and if you set display as a grid, it will override our styles.
Also, you don’t need that container wrapper you have around the “Item”. Your original structure is fine

Yes! perfect I removed the extra container on the outside, reverted the content block to it’s original display settings, and everything works
