NO BUG: Problem with links not opening in a new tab in Bricks Builder

Hello everyone,

I’m facing a problem with Bricks Builder that I can’t seem to solve. I have configured a link to open in a new tab (by checking the “Open in a new tab” option in the link settings), but for some reason, the link keeps opening in the same tab.

I have tried the following:

Verify that the “Open in a new tab” option is checked correctly.
Check the generated code (HTML) to make sure that the target=“_blank” attribute is present.

Has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it? I appreciate any guidance.

The link that has the link set to open in a new tab is the one on the right “Reserva una reunion”.

Hello,

here, I don’t see target=“_blank” attribute.

But, It’s probably caused by some third-party script, not Bricks itself. If I block GSAP using the console network tab, and if I add target="_blank" as an attribute, then it works for me.

Please check those external libraries.

I will check if deactivating the plugin works. Anyway in the picture you have shown is a card where the link does not have the option to open in a new tab.

It is the card on the right “Reserva una Reunión” that has the option to open in a new tab.
