NO BUG: Popup Interaction failure in v1.7.3

Dear Team,
I realized a bug around interaction. I have a popup for GDPR text. The problem exists only in v1.7.3.
v1.7.3 example (doesn’t work): https://test.velkey-solvberg.no/
If I go back to v1.7.2 then everything is fine again.
v1.7.2 example (works): https://design2wp.com/en Check the bottom line and click on “I accept” button, please.

If You click to the button, this fadeOutDown interaction is not working, but only in v1.7.3.

Does somebody else have the same problem? I use SpinupWP and with Redis cache.

Thank you and best regards,
Andrew

Hi Andrew,
Thanks so much for your report, and welcome to the forum!

You can solve the problem very easily by removing the link or leaving the href attribute empty, see here:

Let me know if it doesn’t work

Best regards,
timmse

Dear @timmse ,
Thank you for your answer. Yes, it solved my problem.

Huh, I understand the situation why you changed this working. I have some buttons on the website what work with Bricks Extras. I use Bricks Extras for triggering a class. For example: If somebody clicks on “lead” class element, then a popup pops up. Now this is not working with href or without href. So this is not a Bricks trigger but Bricks Extras but it is connected somehow. How this could be solved, please.

Thank you,
Andrew

Dear @timmse ,
I am sorry. I found the problem. Bricks Extras Modal works well. It doesn’t connected to this Brcks Builder change. I turned Bricks Extras Modal off with a condition what I didn’t change back yesterday. So everything is fine. Case is closable.

Thank you,
Andrew

Dear @timmse ,
I was wondering how could I solve something but I would like to get back to you.
Honestly I was using the link and #anchor-link together. It was fantastic in mobile view.
I understand that somebody wanted to separate the 2 functions but I need it together.

Do you have an idea how I could use interaction and #anchor-link together? I would like to use it in this case:

In real life it is here: Design2WP - Custom WordPress website design
If you click on the “Website Audit” button (last one) it would be nice if it would to scroll down to the new animated in box. I hope you can see it. It was working before 1.7.3
Is tehere a JS trick what could solve my situation, please. I would be really happy.
Best regards, Andrew
