NO BUG: Payment 'complete order' doesn’t do anything

Browser: Chrome 110
OS: macOS / Windows / Linux / etc.
URL: (Winkelwagen - Fair Repair)

used plugins acss, frames, woocommerce

Hello, i recently migrated my wordpress website (changed from elementor to bricks builder). Now we have a problem when clicking on ‘complete order’. This is the last step before paying and getting redirected to pay terminal. Hope you can help. To recreate the problem, you can add a product on for example this link : https://www.fair-repair.be/product/scherm-reparatie-iphone/ and proceed to checkout.

Extra bug : in shopping cart and checkout, there are no shipping costs displayed, while they are added to the total order amount.

I used a template which was provided from frames. Which should work out of the box, or am i doing something wrong?

Hi Jens,
Welcome to the forum and thanks so much for your report!

  1. Clicking on “complete order” takes me to the checkout - what exactly is the problem?
  2. the shipping costs are displayed in my checkout template without any problems. Not in the cart at the moment (that would be an improvement).

When I click on “place order” in your checkout, nothing happens. Can you please deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce, ACSS and Frames and see if something happens? If none of this works: Would you be so kind as to send temporary login credentials and a link to this thread to help@bricksbuilder.io using the email address you used during the purchase?

Best regards,
timmse

Hello Timmse

Thank you for you reply. The problem is actually when you are on the checkout. Clicking on complete order doesnt do anything. People can not place an order

Could you check this?

Greetings
Jens

Originally you spoke of “complete order”

These are the next steps you should take:

Okay, I tried to deactivate everything except for the plugins you mentioned but this did nothing. I send you the mail.

Hi Jens,
Your checkout template (Fair-Repair checkout) was not applied correctly because you also edited the checkout page with Bricks and it was rendered with Bricks.

I changed the rendering to “Render with WordPress” and now the shipping costs are displayed and submitting the order works as it should.

Best regards,
timmse
