I can’t find a “publish button” would it ususally not be on the right close to ‘preview mode’ and ‘wordpress’ icon?

Just click on the “save” button in the top right corner to save the template. The template has to be assigned to either a specific page or to Wordpress content in the Template Settings (cog icon in the top left menu).

Hi @RiekeMe,

Can you please verify if the page was already published? If a page is already published, the “Publish” button won’t appear. Just clicking save is enough to update your post or page.

Hi @charaf,

The page hasn’t been published before.

Oh, that would be odd then. When you visit “Pages” from the WordPress dashboard, what’s the page’s status? Does it say “Published” under the “Date” column? a screenshot would help

It says it’s published, but it is not today’s date. I assume it is the date when I created the page.

That’s correct. The creation date is shown below the status, not the modification date. This is the WordPress standard.
