I found out this bug in slider nestable. I am not sure whether its really a bug. I couldn’t find the setting to solve this.
My slider nestable has 3 items to show from the query and I have set the type to loop. Its working exactly as it meant to be when there are more than 3 items to show. But when there are less than 3 items, it shows duplicates to cover the 3 items.
I wrote a small js snippet to trick the slider to think that the type is “slide” when there are less than 3 items, but if we could solve it in bricks itself, it would be great.
This is expected in Loop mode: it creates copies of the slides for continuous scrolling, so repeated items become visible when there are fewer results than “Items to show.”
To avoid duplicates using native settings, change Type to Slide and enable Rewind. This returns to the beginning after reaching the end, rather than scrolling in an endless loop. You can keep “Items to show” set to 3.
Alternatively, you can, of course, stick with your custom JS solution—but it’s not a bug.
Thanks for clarifying that this is the loop behaviour. Didn’t know. Keep this in mind. Your pointer to keep the type slide and rewind is perfect for me.
