NO BUG: Nestable slider: disabled mode is applied with delay in slide effect

Browser: Chrome 115
OS: Windows
URL: Sample Page – Try Bricks – t8f1f855

Hi bricks team,

If I’m not mistaken, in version 1.8.6 you added the possibility of controlling the Disabled mode to the nestable slider. But now there is a small problem.
The problem is that if we select fade as the slide type, the disabled mode is applied immediately. But if the slide mode is active, the disabled mode will be applied according to this option.

If you see the link I shared above, there are two nestable slider elements. The Speed in ms option is set to 5000 in both elements. However, in the first slider, which is in the form of a slide, the disabled mode is applied with a 5-second delay, but in the bottom slider, the disabled mode is applied immediately because the slider type is fade.

To solve this issue, it would be great if you add an option in the Disabled section so that we can control this delay.

Hi Jolia,
Thanks for your report!

It’s how splide.js works, even if you use splide.js in a regular HTML environment.

We do not influence the behavior in any way. If you really care about the topic, you can create a report on Github and report directly to the splide developers.

Best regards,
timmse
