NO BUG: Nestable slider: arrows and pagination with a small number of slides

Browser: Chrome 115
OS: Windows

Hi bricks team,

There is an issue with the nesable slider element that needs attention. If the number of slides is less than the number required for scrolling, the arrows and pagination are still displayed when they shouldn’t be displayed (according to other sliders I’ve seen so far in Elementor and other plugins).
Please see the image below. As you can see in the image below, there are two sliders and therefore, the slider is not scrollable. But arrows and pagination are still displayed.

If you need a video of a similar case of correct behavior in other plugins, please let me know.

Hi Jolia,
Thanks so much for your report!

You can set the opacity of disabled arrows in the builder to 0, so they won’t be displayed if they have the ::disabled state (as in your example).

The pagination indicates the number of “pages”, which in your case is “1”, and therefore correct.

Best regards,
timmse

Hi @timmse, I thought about your solution (screenshot), but it honestly doesn’t make sense.
By the way, this issue has been resolved in the new version of Elementor that was released yesterday. So let me share a video how jet woobuilder implements this. Jet woobuilder plugin also has disabled settings. But automatically (without the need for changes in disabled settings) arrows and pagination are hidden when needed.

Well, what if a user wants to display the arrows anyway (that would only be a matter of time)? Our solution covers everything without making it complicated in both directions.

Anyway, it’s not bad if you talk about it internally with the team.
