Shouldn’t there be a <main> tag instead of the <article> tag? or the article should be inside the main?

Thanks so much for your report!
Technically, it’s not a bug. The default cart page (as with checkout or my account), is a Gutenberg page. As long as this page is not a Bricks Page, Bricks shows it as an article, which is it because it’s a page 
You can edit the shop page with Bricks and use the post content element to output the Woo Cart Shortcode, or add the [woocommerce_cart] shortcode using the shortcode element.
