NO BUG: Mini Cart: Cart Count Options

Hi @timmse,

There is an issue in the mini cart widget that is not actually a bug, but it causes errors for bricks users.
There are two options in the Mini cart widget > cart count > visibility. Show and Hide. The default mode is on Show.
The problem here is that by default, on the front end, if there are no products in the cart, the cart count is not displayed at all. But if we select the show value, the cart count will still be displayed on the front end even if the shopping cart is empty. This will confuse users.
So, it would be great if the visibility option in the cart count section is 3 options. Show, Hide and Hide if empty.

Thanks so much for your report!

Your report is the first of its kind, so the confusion seems to be limited :smiley:
Instead of a new option, we could theoretically change the placeholder text to “Show (if empty)” – or leave it as it is since you can see what happens when you try the different settings. :thinking:
