Apparently when maintenance mode is activated access is blocked on /wp-admin. Only wp-login.php is accessible. This is not that comfortable as there are sometimes forwards after login (which create several more steps to get back to the admin area).
Hi @chanart,
I can’t replicate this issue locally. Could you please try disabling all plugins and see if the issue persists?
Hi @charaf,
Seems you’re right. The issue was caused by PMPro’s own login page. So if I set the default login page in PMPro to “default WP” it is working.
However, if I set the login page in bricks’ general settings to the PMPro login page - it is not respecting it and will only go to the default wp login. Not sure why it is like this.
It is probably a different topic, but do you have any idea?
No clue how PMPro works tbh. Is the PMPro a normal page? I’d imagine they have some redirection login going on, because when I set a normal Gutenberg or Bricks page as the login page then when I visit /wp-admin whilst maintenance mode is active I can still access that custom login page.
