Some symbols like dot and dash are not working in the item widget.
They break the text. The only way to make it possible is by using "e codes or if the symbol is inside a tag.

Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce the issue.
What exactly do you mean by “break the text”? Can you provide me with a live link and try to deactivate your plugins and test again?

Just checked again and now works fine.
As soon as I will have this issue again I will record it.
