NO BUG: Lightbox image not showing when using image URL

Browser: Chrome 111
OS: Windows
URL: https://www.beachfarer.com/bricks-bugs/beach/bondi-beach-new-south-wales-australia/
Video: Microsoft OneDrive - Access files anywhere. Create docs with free Office Online.

I can view the image normally on the page but when I click on the image to load the lightbox the image disappears. I have tried a few different things to see if it helps and nothing works. I have tried the things below, which didn’t help
• Different image URLs
• Using the external URL field
• Using a URL that comes from dynamic data
An example URL that I am using is this one https://beachfarer.b-cdn.net/Common/beach-photo-3.jpg (note that only my website can access the image directly). When investigating the link on the lightbox the url being used is https://www.beachfarer.com/wp-content/themes/bricks/assets/images/placeholder-image-800x600.jpg.

When I use an image from my media library it works fine. To give a bit more context behind what I am doing. I am storing all my images directly on bunny.net and using URLs stored in a custom post type to then access the URLs. This is because my site will have thousands of images and it’s easier to manage them outside of the wordpress environment.

Hi Jacob,
Thanks so much for your report!

Your issue sounds pretty much like this one:

Please check out the thread and my solution, as I think you’re using the wrong linking method.

Ps: I removed the login details, since it isn’t a good idea to share login credentials publicly (even if it’s not an admin account).

Thanks Timmse that did the trick! Thanks for your help
