This depends on the way your tool handles the database.
If it doesn’t handle the serialized data properly, the data will be corrupted and an empty canvas will be showing when editing with Bricks.

I clone a bricks site by doing: copy code to a new folder, duplicate database, use wp cli search-replace to update from old domain to the new one.
the result is terribled:
it’s take about 1 mins for the first load.
all bricks parts in my website are broken, they seem to be zero content (look like the first time you edit them in Bricks) but …
Just a small update. I did find another page just recently that had the same problem (blank on the Frontend and Editor). The page had not been edited for 3 months. This is a very rarely used page so I haven’t checked it probably since the last edit. Anyways it also had an emoji in the content as well.
I went through the same process as last time to fix it. It worked and I also added back in the emoji.
Anyways since this happened to me on more than 1 page that means it was not a one off savin…
I will mark this thread as NO BUG as it’s related to the migration tool you are using.
