NO BUG: Interactions Not Working In Builder

Hi! I’m new to Bricks, and am hoping to invest in the builder for a few Wordpress ideas I’ve had cooking for a while. One of the reasons I purchased it was the interactions it supported, which remind me of sites I was able to build with Webflow.

Immediately, I wanted to try out any click interaction - and after hours of reading through documentation and watching videos… I’ve concluded mine flat out don’t work or I must not be following instructions well.

Recorded is a test interaction example of how I select a red container to toggle off a blue one. It just doesn’t seem to work whatsoever. My actual use case is much more complex - but I find this jarring and frustrating.

Edit update: NOT a bug - just user experience issues that @wplit helped out with

the interaction won’t be seen while you’re still in preview mode, you need to view the site on the front end. (preview mode is just a fullscreen version of what you see inside of the builder, it’s not the live site)

Thankfully not a bug - and clearly a rookie mistake. Really appreciate this, @wplit !

Try out the Bricksforge plugin. You can build your own animations using GSAP, and see them live in the builder with the timeline builder.
