NO BUG: Import Bricks Settings JSON file bug

I am annoyed by the Bricks settings file’s failure to import settings that I had exported originally.

I have tried with couple different hostings and couple different Bricks license versions but whenever I import Builder settings JSON file, I always have to set the following 3 options again:

  1. SVG uploads (shows no option selected while I always export with ‘Administrator’)

  2. Code Execution (shows no option selected while I always export
    with ‘Administrator’)

  3. Set ‘Toolbar logo link’ to Dashboard (always auto-selects ‘Preview’ while I always export with ‘Dashboard’)

It’s been there since as far as memory serves.

Thanks so much for your report!

1 & 2 are disabled by default for security reasons and are not included in the export for the same reasons.

3 works fine using Bricks 1.6beta. Can you please check it again?

Thanks for the reply. I get the security point. But if you are saying that the 3rd point is working in 1.6 beta then it should be working. Please close this thread. I really do not have the time to test it for some days, @timmse. :slight_smile:

Tried this out from 1.5.7 to 1.5.7 and it’s working. I set the Toolbar Link to Dashboard, on the new site I had it set to “Preview” and when I imported the settings it correctly changed it to “Dashboard”

Not on 1.5.7 for me.
