NO BUG: Font Open Sans Condensed not available in the themes style or anywhere else

Browser: Chrome 111.0.5563.110
OS: macOS 13.2.1

[Please describe this bug in as much detail as possible so we can replicate & debug this bug]

With Bricks 1.7.1 i can no longer choose the Font Open Sans Condensed. Not in the themes style or anywhere else.

I have an older local Bricks 1.7 install. There i can choose Open Sans Condensed.

Tested with Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Brave. Result is the same.

The fonts are loaded directly from Google. No local install (custom fonts).

(Maybe it has something to do with the new Adobe font functionality.)

Open Sans Condensed is no longer provided by Google (you won’t find it here either). The Condensed version is just the regular Open Sans font with a width of 75%. Since Bricks does not provide variable font support for Google Fonts (yet – see Integration: Adobe Fonts – Bricks Academy) you should download the legacy font and include it manually for now.

I noticed the same thing with the Google Font “Spartan”. Google quit serving it as an option this past month it seems and it broke all of my site’s typography until I upgraded to the new League Spartan. Annoying but it is an upgraded version of the font so likely the same for Open Sans Condensed.
