Hi,
as you can see in the video, the styling are not passed on the front-end when editing a blog post with Bricks.
If I save my design/blog post as a template and then add this template as a shortcode to the post editor in Wordpress/Gutenberg, then the design/styling is working.
But it’s not working when the design is directly in Briks and the post rendered with Bricks.
Hope that makes sense.
I can’t find why…
Thanks in advance for your help and any clue!
I think the reason is that it renders only WP content and not content created into Bricks.
Since I had the settings " Save Bricks data as Gutenberg data" enabled, what is renders is Gutenberg version of my text/design.
Once this option disabled, when the WP post is empty and I have the text/design of my post only in Bricks, nothing (except the layout of the post template) is rendered.
Hm yeah you’re right, that’s odd. Could you please share temporary admin access to help@bricksbuilder.io with a link to this thread using the same email you used to purchase Bricks so we can investigate this?
This would in turn take precedence over everything you create on individual posts with Bricks.
However, since you have added a “Posts content” element to the template, I’m assuming your intention was to render the Bricks data there, correct?:
This would then render the Bricks data within the template.
I have switched the data source back to “WordPress” on your website just in case that’s not what you’re looking for. Let me know if that helps or if I misunderstood your use case
