NO BUG: Emojis in Dynamic Data?

Hi,

I can’t seem to get the Emojis to work when using Dynamic Data tags, for example, I have emojis in custom fields, that I’m trying to query with dynamic data. I have ES (flag), it just renders in Bricks and on frontend as “:es:” instead of an actual emoji flag. Does anyone know a work around to make these work?

EDIT: the emojis show up here, so i edited the text for understanding.

Hi diemos,
Thanks so much for your report!

Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce the issue using these emoji flags with ACF textfields, textareas, wysiwyg fields and Bricks Rich- and Basic text fields:

Instead, you should use SVGs to obtain the most significant system coverage. I don’t know if there are different “emoji sets” on macOS (which I’m using), Windows, or Linux - quite possible

Best regards,
timmse

Thank you for a quick reply @timmse

I actually build a quite complex addon, that integrates Google Sheets with a custom element that enables me to use dynamic data tags with Sheets data. But, I think there is something with the plugin honestly, so I just decided to use SVGs, which work great. Thank you.
