NO BUG/DUPLICATE: Scroll to hashtag link doesn't work

OS: macOS / Windows / Linux / etc.

My client wants to start an email campaign. The email should contain a link to a section on the website that has a video. The section ID is #lottie-arrow-target. So I think this link should work:

But when you click on the link it just goes to the homepage, totally ignoring the #hashtag. How can this be fixed?

Where did you enter the ID? Under CSS ID of the section?

It works wonderfully on my website. For example, https://hauptwerk-organ.com/essen/#audio_samples

I use these IDs for my page navigation.

This is how my link should work, too, but it doesn’t. That’s why I believe it’s a bug on my website. Because when I click on it, it just stays on top of the page and doesn’t scroll down. Here’s the link again

Thanks so much for your report.

The problem has already been reported:

NO BUG: Anchor link to different pages #section-id not working

Searched for the same issue on the forum but didn’t really get an answer. I’m trying to make a button link to a certain section of a different page but it only takes me to the page and does not scroll down to the anchored id. The “Explore Careers” button should link to the career page’s “#fourth” section. I’ve worked on other Bricks sites before and the external page anchor links work fine. That was Bricks 1.53 and the version I’m using for this site is Bricks 1.7.1.
