See this Loom. Disappearing CSS in 2.0RC2 | Loom
When I add CSS to a class then switch to another element, the css completely disappears.
I noticed this issue starting with RC2 as well. I think it is related to Advanced Themer’s “Superpower the Custom CSS control” option under Builder Tweaks > Elements. When I disable AT or this option, the issue goes away for me.
Hi Alan,
Thanks so much for your report!
Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce the issue (native Bricks).
Please follow Cypher’s advice and see if there’s a conflict with this AT setting. If so, please report it to Advanced Themer
Best regards,
timmse
There is indeed a fix for it in the next release of AT, though it only applies to the SuperPowerCSS control. In @alanblair video, this feature is not enabled. So there might be something to debug further on the Bricks side too.
Ah, great that there’s a fix, I hope the new version of AT doesn’t take too long.
Thank you.
Please deactivate all plugins without exception and see if the problem persists. If not, activate one plugin at a time until you find the culprit @alanblair
Thanks Timmise.
I just had a chance to test. The only plugin I have on this test sit is Advance Themer. And I confirmed that with AT disabled, the issue resolves. So a clash of the titans
Thanks for confirming, Alan
For your reference @maximebeguin
That makes no sense. AT doesn’t interfere with the Custom CSS control events.
Anyway, that problem on AT’s side will be fixed in the next release. If it also fixes the custom css control one, fine.
I can only reproduce it with AT 3.2.5 and Bricks 2.0 RC2 when “Superpower CSS” is enabled. When disabled, I don’t see any problems either.
