NO BUG: customLabelMapping ignored within bricks/element/settings hook

Hey there,

Trying to follow this Filter based on custom field I noticed that Bricks seems to ignore the customLabelMapping when edited directly from within the hook bricks/element/settings

print_r($settings) before returning them:

After saving the page, and updating the index, no label is changed:

Any help would, confirmation, or workaround would be highly appreciated

this should work, and it’s not a bug. That’s why I will mark this topic as no bug, and because I see that you posted the same in the How To category, I answered there.

Hello @frussane, this should work. But, the values that we compare should be a string - so I believe if you wrap your $post_id to strval( $post_id ), it should work. Can you test with the line looking like this: 'optionMetaValue' => strval( $post_id ), Let me know Thank you. Matej
