NO BUG: Create post action: The uploaded image is not displayed in Jet Engine cpt

Browser: Chrome 140.0.7339.208
OS: Windows

Hi team,

I have a cpt in JetEngine that has a metafield of type media. I also have a form in the frontend (with an image field) with a new action “Create Post”. After completing and submitting the form in the frontend, the uploaded image is not displayed in the post. Is this a compatibility issue from JetEngine? Because I tested with acf and there was no problem.

Thank you

Hi @Matej,

Sorry for tagging you. I wanted to mention this report. Since I know you don’t use Jet Engine, if you think it would be better to check my demo website to save time, please let me know.

Thank you

Hi @HOSEIN,

thank you for tagging me. Looks like we missed this topic, I’m so sorry!

If you can provide a staging website with a video how to replicate the issue, that would be great if you can can you send temporary login credentials to your test/staging website and a link to this topic to help@bricksbuilder.io using the email address you used during the purchase, like always

Thank you!
Matej

Hi @HOSEIN,

Although this indeed doesn’t work with JetEngine, we’re moving this to “no bug” since we don’t officially support JetEngine. Our create & update post actions only officially support ACF & Metabox at this time: Create & Update Posts on the Frontend – Bricks Academy.

Please extend it to include ACPT and the ability to update OptionPages.
I have raised an Idea but it is yet to appear/be approved.

ACPT manages the Bricks integration on their end, so it’s best to contact their team directly regarding this. If they need any help, they are welcome to reach out to us, and we’d be happy to help.

Hi and Thank you Charaf,

There are currently some issues between JetEngine and Bricks that are not really easy to communicate, report, and fix by their developers, unlike you who are always in direct contact with the community. I hope Bricks will officially support Jet Engine in the future if possible.

Thanks again

Well I did raise it with ACPT but their view is its a Bricks issue.

“there’s no way to fetch Option page fields. This is a Bricks issue; they should add the option to the Actions.“

Shame.
