NO BUG: Conditions: Individual post not showing when trying to exclude a post

Browser: Brave v1.63.174. Chromium 122.0.6261.128
OS: Windows
URL: Inside the builder

Hi!

I could use some help from you, I asked this in Facebook group without any answer. I am trying to exclude some individual post. As far as you can see I could do that previously, as seen in the image (sorry typo on comming). But after updating to 1.9.7 I can’t see the way to add more. As you can see in the image , every time I add via post ID or name of the post, it shows only the “x” to delete the added post, but it doesn’t add the post I try to exclude. Maybe I am missing something? I’d really appreciate your help, thanks

Hi,
Thanks so much for your report!

Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce the issue (or don’t understand how).

Would you be so kind as to send temporary login credentials, information on how to replicate it on your website, and a link to this thread to help@bricksbuilder.io using the email address you used during the purchase?

Best regards,
timmse

Thanks @timmse! I will send the email with the required info.

Thanks so much for the login credentials!

Not quite  You are trying to exclude a template (the header template) from another template (“Photos”), which doesn’t work and is the expected behavior. This is why you will not be shown any templates within the “individual” selection but only individual posts or pages.

You can exclude templates from individual posts, pages, or entire post types (as you have already done for your “Albums” post type) but not from other templates.

timmse

Thanks for the reply @timmse . I kind of not completely understand. If you can see in the image below, the “Crypto” and “Bodas - Amatista” are not post, but templates, and they are excluded correctly. I did that a couple weeks ago and worked like a charm. Is there any reason why it didn’t worked this time, but it did work previously?

Hey Darwin,
We don’t know what exactly made it possible for you to add templates - we’ve tried to reproduce the problem, but unfortunately, we can’t do it.

As I said, it is not intended that this is possible.
