NO BUG: Code signature invalid once a week

I had posted under Miscellaneous, but my problem probably fits better here.

On one of my client’s websites, there’s a form from brevo.com integrated. Everything works fine, but the form keeps disappearing every Friday, and I have to re-verify the code. I’ve already tried generating new code signatures under “Custom Code” in the Bricks settings.

From a maintenance point of view… I would look @ a dedicated form plugin that sends info to a CRM. This way if you ever switch CRMs, you can change API key, while having your relative structure set-up, and switch-over time reduced drastically :slight_smile:

FluentForms has been a good choice on my end so far.

Also, do you have to use the Code widget? Can’t you just use “Basic Text”?

Thanks for your input! The idea with the form plugin seems a good approach!
For now I changed the code widget into a basic text widget and it looks good. I will be able to say for sure on friday, when the form normally disappears.

I found the idea that you have to verify the code from the code widget is basically very good and I hope that by using basic text I don’t offer any openings for attack.

It seems like this Sucuri Security plugin is changing the Website salt key automatically.

Can you check with their plugin support.

If so, this is the expected result as the SALT change will cause the previous signature invalid.

Thanks a lot for the helpful answer! I have deactivated the key updater and i will see if the form will disappear tomorrow. Since I don’t really need Sucuri Security, I will probably remove the whole plugin.
I will then give you brief feedback here wether it worked.

Thanks again for your help! The form didn´t disappear any more after I deactivated Sucuri´s key updater. Problem solved! :smiley:
