I keep encountering a large number of 404 errors in my search console from category pages with pagination. I have enabled the Is main query option (Archive) on my query loop and selected Main query on the pagination element, but the error persists.

In the short video below, you will notice that I loaded a category page. Initially, the pagination showed 15 pages, but upon clicking on any of the page numbers, the total pages decreased to 10. I went further and reloaded the page, then clicked to navigate directly to page 15, but it returned a 404 error. Interestingly, the error page is not even the one I have defined as my 404 template.
As a result of this behavior, I constantly receive the following errors in the search console, which negatively impacts the SEO for my site.
