NO BUG: Cant change Adobe Fonts Project ID

When I change to a new Project ID, for Adobe Fonts, it just shows an error for the old Project ID (Which I have deacticated in Adobe).

It shows: Error: Not Found

(with the old Project ID in the field)

Hi @bricksrun,

regarding the Adobe Project ID, once you enter it, please click “Save” at the bottom of the page, so that the Project ID update → then it should work.
Also, double check that the project ID is correct. I just tested, and it worked.

If this does not solve the issue, can you record a video on how you reproduce it, and you can send it via DM or to help@bricksbuilder.io + w a link to this topic to help@bricksbuilder.io using the email address you used during the purchase.

Thanks,
Matej

Hi Mataj, it worked for me. But the issue is when changing to a different Project ID. Does that work for you?

I only tested with one. But, if you clear the field, save settings, refresh the page to make sure that the Project ID is empty, add new Project ID, save settings, Sync fonts. Does it work this way?

Matej

That worked! Thank you.

Perfect, thanks for letting me know. I’ll mark this topic as no-bug then

Maybe not strictly a “bug”, but it is just semantics, because most users who try this will result in an error. It should be marked as a suggestion for the developers, because its currently unintuitive and a very bad UX. Most people would not think you need to save it as blank.

  • Either :
    1. Allow users to simply enter a new Project ID and click Sync.
      or
    1. Add some instructions that it needs to saved as blank to add a new Project ID.

Now that I’m thinking, you should not even need to save it as blank - I guess replacing it, and then saving it, should work as well.

Doing that brought up an error, see my first post
