NO BUG: Can't add a jump link after using dynamic data {post_url}

I am trying to add a “jump link” to a specific section within the same page. When I insert a blank “text link” element onto my design, link it to “dynamic data”, select {post_url}, and add the element #, the bricks builder says error and crashes upon saving.

The final result if my actions looks similar to:

{post_url}#ELEMENT-ID

Hello Soph,

What I suggest here is that you use “External URL”, and then paste the ID there. There you just input #element-id and it should work, if you want to link to section on the same page.

You can also use dynamic data in this field, if you need. But if you are on same page, then it’s not needed.
