NO BUG: Builder Saving Bug - Incorrect prompt upon builder exit

Browser: Chrome 110
OS: macOS.
Hosting. Hostinger

After updating to v1.11.1.1, when I try to leave the builder, regardless of hitting save, it prompts me that any unsaved changes will be lost.

Notice no dot on the save icon, yet still being prompted! Thought it could be caching but I’ve removed caching plugins and having same issue.

Thanks!

Hi,

thank you for the report. Now, this is not happening to me, so I can’t replicate the issue locally. Does this happen every time, for every page/template you edit with Bricks? Or just for some?

Thank you,
Matej

Hi Matej,

Thanks for the response, I’ve dropped the theme down to 1.11.1 and the same issue is happening so I think this is a server issue/conflict of some sort on my end.

Sorry about that!

Thanks,
Dan

Thanks,

in this case, I’ll mark the topic as a no bug.

Hi - I was looking into the same problem and came across this thread. I am having the issue on two different sites, if I browse the site while logged in I get the Save prompt each time, and also if I edit - it always prompts me to save, even if I have already done so:

Parent theme: 1.11.1.1
Child theme 1.1
WP Version: 6.6.2

Let me know if this is happening to anyone else, or if I can provide more info.

Thanks, Mel

I know this wont be much help, but after I reported the issue, I didn’t work on the site for a few days and when I returned back continue work on the site today, the issue was no longer happening.

Hi - thanks @danproc - I found the fix! I tried disabling Automatic CSS, and it stopped, so I looked on their forum, and it turned out to be an issue with the ACSS not having been saved. I opened ACSS, made a small changes and hit the ACSS save button, and the problem was resolved.
