NO BUG: Builder language issues

After installing WPML in my setup and setting the site language to Greek, i see the builder in Greek although i set the builder language as English.
Is there a way to overrride this and see the builder in English ?

In settings / builder

This is the setting i have but for some reason i still see Greek in Bricks settings and just before editing.

Hi Yannis,
Thanks so much for your report!

Looking at your screenshots, you’re not in the builder, but still in the WordPress dashboard. To change the WordPress dashboard to English, change the language setting in your user profile.

Best regards,
timmse

This is correct, but the settings are of Bricks.
I don’t even understand what the settings are, in Greek.

Sorry, but I don’t understand what exactly the problem is, because I can read Greek just as well as Russian, Japanese or Chinese: not at all, sorry.

Please explain the problem again in as much detail as possible. You talk about the Builder but show screenshots from the WP dashboard… which is, unfortunately, also confusing.

And then WPML comes into play. What happens if you deactivate WPML? Problem solved? If so, it’s more likely a WPML problem or a WPML setting that causes the issue (string translation?).

I know it is WP Dashboard, but it is the “Bricks settings” page in the first image. It shouldn’t be in Greek. It should be in English. The second image is the “edit page” and the yellow button should also be in English and not in Greek.
Here is ie the settings page of Advanced Themer, on the same installation. All in English except of course the menu on the left that is in Greek, as it is the wordpress’s laguage.

Again: If you disable WPML. What happens?

Nothing happens. Unfortunatelly everything remains in Greek.

OK, so it’s not related to WPML.

Which language is set in your user profile?

The settings in my user profile is Greek, but all the plugins, themes, etc that have no valid Greek translation are in English as i showed you with Advanced Themer. And i think that this is the correct way.

That’s correct since there are no translation files. In contrast, Bricks has Greek translation files, which are used accordingly.

As these are generated automatically, it can always happen that one or the other string does not make sense. In these cases, we rely on native speakers who optimize the language files with a tool like Poedit and email them to us.

Can i have these files and make some corrections ?

That would be wonderful, and we would be very grateful! Thanks so much!
