NO BUG: Bug with WooCommerce cart / checkout templates?

I’m trying to create a template for the WC cart and checkout pages but they don’t seem to render on each page.

Weirdly enough, I can copy all the structure into the individual cart or checkout page and it copies everything in (including the WC elements that aren’t available within these pages like Cart Items or Cart Totals), but on the cart page the layout is screwed up.

I’m struggling to make the necessary changes to these pages for the design I’m working on.

Is this a known bug?

Here’s my site info if it helps with anything.

Thanks.

Hey @projectilecreative,

thanks for your report.

It would help a lot to see how you actually set things up. Can you maybe record a small screencast demonstrating your setup and showing the issue? That’d help a lot.

Best,

André

Thanks for the reply. So here is my setup of the Bricks template for the cart:

This is what it looks like on the frontend (which seems to be showing the WooCommerce cart block from Gutenberg):

I can even copy from the Bricks Template structure and paste it into the WooCommerce Cart page but the layout seems messed up in terms of styling and on the checkout page the same thing, but Stripe payment CC fields don’t show or are very tiny (showing as an error with stripe.js):

When I click ‘Edit with Bricks’ on the WooCommerce cart page and set it up like this the content shows:

Hey @projectilecreative,

unfortunately a flood of screenshots does not make it much clearer compared to a screencast with an explanation.

Please send some temporary credentials to help@bricksbuilder.io from the email address you used when purchasing Bricks. Please also include a link to this forum report.

Best,

André

Apologies for that, I’ve sent you logins to the website now.

Hi there, any luck with this?

What was the outcome of this? I am running into similar Woo issues atm

Hi guys,
Sorry, the thread got a bit lost because we have not received any further response from @projectilecreative. As far as I can see in the ticket history, we could not find a problem with the cart layout and have asked again for a screencast, but as I said, we did not get a response.

Since this thread is super old and refers to Bricks 1.8.3, please create a new thread about your specific issue and share details on how we can replicate it @dan :v:
