NO BUG: Bricks not saving when MetaBox AIO plugin is activated

Hello,

I discovered a bug when I used Meta Box AIO in version 1.9.5 from Bricks, when the module is activated it, does not save.
In the previous versions I did not have this problem.

I have also attached a clip with the problem.

OS: macOS

Hi @antonio ,

I can’t replicate the issue with Bricks v 1.9.5 + Metabox AIO v 1.24.0
Then I noticed you are using Metabox AIO v1.24.1 and I updated it now I can see the error.
Once MetaboxAIO v1.24.1 is installed, saving in the builder returns 403 error.
Could you please try to reach out to their support?
Meanwhile, I will contact them via email too.

I experienced the same situation with version 1.24.1, and I mentioned the problem in another post. I have also sent a message to the authorities but have not yet received a reply.
I tried to close the plug-ins in AIO one by one and found that the Revision function would cause the save function to fail.

(My report details) The method to reproduce is simple:

  • No matter what the situation, just turn on the Revision plug-in
  • The save function will not be stop after clicked
  • It has nothing to do with other third-party plug-ins. My WP test environment only has two plug-ins, Metabox and AIO. (I have Bricks builder theme and child theme)
  • Not sure if it is related to the theme, but I am using BricksBuilder, and I also tried to uninstall Bricks after the save function failed.
  • All WP system-wide saving functions will be disabled, except for the saving function within the metabox plug-in.
  • Depending on the number of actual work modifications and saves, WP or editor Save will generally fail after one to a few hours.
  • Saving is sometimes effective, but the save button will always display the status of waiting to save (for example, the button keeps rotating). Sometimes the save can be successful if you manually exit the page, but this is not guaranteed, and there are exceptions. For example, if you modify the tag or taxonomy in CustomPostType, you will definitely not be able to save it.
  • I have tried reinstalling a clean WP, and also tried exporting the database and reimporting it, but none of them solved the problem.
  • My test environment is Local by FlyWheel (Linux)
  • The browser is Google Chrome lastest (Linux)

Unfortunately, no response from the plugin support yet.
And also thanks for your post in their forum.
Included here as a reference too.

You could downgrade to 1.24.0 if you have a copy of the plugin backup.

Is there a stable solution to this yet? I have the same issue except that edits ARE being saved but the Bricks save wheel just wont stop turning. I have to click go back to WP icon to get out of Bricks even though save wheel is still turning.

UPDATE: Deactivating the MB Revision extension solved the issue.

I have the same issue with Bricks 1.95 and Metabox AIO.
