NO BUG: Bricks editor canvas not working properly

Browser: Firefox/Edge
OS: Windows

Hello,

I am trying to use the editor on a staging copy of my production website. The issue is that the elements that I add to containers do not show in the editor canvas itself and can’t be clicked/hovered on. They are present in the Structure panel and I can interact with them from there. When I click on the “Go to: View on frontend” the element is visible on the frontend. After returning to the editor, certain items are then visible (images) but some are still not visible on the canvas (navbar (Nestable)).

Maybe I am doing something wrong, as I am new to Bricks. I couldn’t find any similar topics.

Thank you in advance!

https://jam.dev/ recording would be better for devs to see the problem.

Hi @jhey,

Welcome to the forum

Could you please disable all plugins to see if the issue persists?

If you’re using Cloudflare Rocket Loader please check this article: Known issues – Bricks Academy

If the issue persists, please share temporary admin access to help@bricksbuilder.io with a link to this forum thread.

Hi, thanks for the quick responses.

I have recorded the issue: Jam

@charaf All plugins are disabled. I hope you may have an idea what else to try, otherwise I can share admin details.

Unfortunately, I’m still unable to determine what might be going wrong, as I haven’t encountered this issue before where only certain elements aren’t rendered in the builder.

Can you try disabling all browser extensions? if the issue persists then we’ll need admin access (sent to help@bricksbuilder.io with a link to this forum thread).

I have tried in multiple browsers without luck. I have shared the details with help@bricksbuilder.io

Hi @jhey ,

As per my reply in the email, this is related to your server configuration.
Noticed that all REST API calls in your website resolved to a static HTML page.
You can replicate this issue in the default WP theme too. (Create a new page is always failed)
Please check your server configuration.

Thanks~
Regards,
Jenn
