Hi,
This element has a background color by default, while there is no default color in this element’s Style > Background tab. Even if we check the css in the frontend, we don’t see the background color.
It would be more appropriate if the default color is visible in the Style tab > Background Color of this element.
Yet again this is a feature request not a bug. Will you never learn?

Thanks so much for your report!
It’s neither a bug nor an improvement since Bricks does not apply a background color. It comes from the user agent stylesheet (the browser’s default styles) and varies from browser to browser. Just have a look at the computed styles in the developer tools.
If you want it to be transparent or differently colored, you can override it using background color.
