NO BUG: Animated Typing element does not support special characters

Hi.

Just discovered a bug : the Animated Typing element does not support the “&” character. It does support other types of special characters such as " ! ", " [ " etc…

Would be neat to repair this issue.

You already say it in the title: the & is a special, more precisely reserved character, which must be replaced accordingly with its entity: &

@timmse - thank you for your feedback. I’m having the same issue, but I’m using an ACF-field as source. In this situation, in my case it also doesn’t accept & . The typing effect just stops there. Is there some way to prevent it from reading html?
