When I enable Smooth Scroll (CSS) in Bricks Settings anchor links from one page to a section on a different page do not work properly in Chrome, the link just leads to the top section of the page. Tested it in Safari and Firefox and it works just fine, opens the page to the anchored section. Has anybody else run into this issue? Any solutions/workarounds? Appreciate any help that can be provided.
Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce the issue, and we have no other reports on this. Would you be so kind as to provide a live link and a screencast using https://jam.dev showing and explaining what’s happening?
Below is a link to the staging site. I only have a Homepage, Privacy Policy page, and Security Policy page active at this time. So if you visit the link below, scroll down to the footer and visit either policy page then click one of the header nav items (not Start a Project) you’ll see that it brings you to the hero section, not the anchored section of the page. Again, this is only in Chrome, everything works fine in Firefox and Safari.
Thanks for the link! I see what you mean, but this seems to be a classic Chrome problem that can probably only be solved by JS (see @sinanisler’s link).
Since we don’t use JS for smooth scrolling, we unfortunately have no influence on it.
