NO BUG: 1px gap between shape divider and adjacent section

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Make a new page
  2. Add 2 sections with a good helping of min-height (e.g., 60vh)
  3. Add a shape divider (Tilt) to the top of the second section
  4. Add a background image to the second section
  5. View in front end

There’s a 1 pixel gap between the shape divider and the adjacent section.

thanks for your report.

I would like to reproduce the issue by rebuilding your setup but I guess I don’t understand. You’re talking about two sections and add both the shape divider and the background-image to the second section? What is the first section’s role then?

Also some details about your shape divider setup (width, height, alignment and stuff) would help.

Could you maybe just share a link with me or provide a quick screencast? That’d make things easier I guess. :slight_smile:

Wait!! I just opened my link in an incognito window, i.e. without being logged in, and there’s no gap! So this clearly isn’t a “front-end” bug, if anything it’s a glitch in the builder. Will get back to you as soon as I get around to recording that screencast.

not sure where the shape divider is on this page. I’ll wait for the screencast. :slight_smile:

I can already tell you though that this is a common issue with shape dividers / absolutely positioned SVGs that you can probably solve by just adding / subtracting 1px to / from the dividers vertical position. Seeing the gap or not depends on many factors like the screen resolution and/or density.

Okay, so the problem just solved itself o.O You can see me finding out in real-time here:

Issue is also no longer reproducible with 0 top and bottom.

I guess… close this thread? Sorry for the non-issue.
