I want to share a feature request for Nestable Query filters that I think deserves to be put on the idea board for voting. Of course, if the bricks team sees fit.
In general, in Nestable Query filters we can create anything using query loops + dynamic data. Without any limitations. Just like other Nestable elements which are awesome. I understand that it might be difficult for new users to figure it out, but the current filter elements will be the right solution for them.
For example, one of the limitations that currently exists is that if we create a filter for woocommerce brand, only the term name and counter will be displayed. But there is no option to display the brand image. This is where Nestable Query filters change the game.
Below I have created some demos to make the details of this feature request clearer.
1- Radio and Checkbox Filter (Query Loop + Dynamic Data + Interaction)
I think the ideas are good. I’ve had a few ideas buzzing around in my head for quite some time now.
Another example from me would be:
JetSmartFilters has solved this problem well with checkboxes/radio fields. For example, checkboxes can be displayed as a drop-down menu where you can select multiple values. This saves space, is very clear,´ and allows you to remove active values directly.
Oh, I love it. This approach is so appealing. Although it can be a bit difficult for new users like me, but I like it. Because anything professional is difficult. That’s natural.
I also agree with Alex. It would be nice if there was an accordion option for filters for Neatble Query Filters as well.
This is exactly the advantage of nestable query filters. You can place a query inside a nestable accordion or even a dropdown to achieve the desired result.
