Need Help Bypassing Pages in Coming Soon Mode with Bricks Settings

Hey everyone, :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I’m currently setting up a coming soon page using Bricks settings, and I’ve run into a bit of a snag. I have the coming soon mode activated, but I need to grant access to specific pages, such as my privacy policy, while keeping the rest of the site under the coming soon mode.

Here’s the scenario: I want visitors to be able to click on a link to my privacy policy and view that page, but I still want all other pages restricted due to the coming soon mode. Essentially, I need to selectively bypass the coming soon mode for certain pages, like the policy pages.

Does anyone know how I can achieve this using Bricks settings? Any guide :grinning:suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Hi Chaudes,

as far as i know, coming soon does not lock your website but provide home/landing page with such notice plus informing search engines that your website is not yet read to be crawled.
for example i have website which is on coming soon status but when i use links to published page it is accessible.
there for try adding links to your privacy policy in the template you use for coming soon and check if it is accessible.

Hi there :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I attempted to set up a link to the privacy policy to open in a new tab, but instead of redirecting to the privacy policy page, it loads the coming soon page. While this behavior aligns with the intent of a coming soon page, ensuring content remains locked until the official launch, there’s a need for a selective whitelist feature. This feature would enable me to designate specific pages that can bypass the coming soon mode and still be viewed, especially when accessed via a direct link. Maintaining content lockdown is essential for maintaining the integrity of the coming soon page, ensuring only designated content is accessible until the launch.

it seems your point is right, hoping such feature will be added soon.
