Meta Data and Additional Information

Can someone please explain why some information is only available as Product Meta Data (e.g. SKU), and some only as Additional Information (e.g. weight, dimensions)?

I would like to show data from both in one single table. How would you go about that?

Did you find any solution? Same issue here. There are no dynamic data keys for displaying weight and dimensions separately.

No, I haven’t found a solution yet. I’m a bit surprised at this, and also at the lack of responses, given that Bricks seems to be quite well thought out otherwise and very popular.

I can’t believe that almost nobody else has a need for this, to show all product data in one place and in a consistent style.

Common Bricks, this is pretty basic, isn’t it?

You will need an easy PHP function for this

For anyone else trying to do this, add the following to your theme’s functions.php file:

function display_wc_product_weight() {
    global $product;

    if ( ! $product ) {
        return '';
    }

    $output = $product->get_weight() . ' ' . get_option( 'woocommerce_weight_unit' );

    return $output;
};

add_shortcode('wc_product_weight', 'display_wc_product_weight');

function display_wc_product_dimensions() {
    global $product;

    if ( ! $product ) {
        return '';
    }

    $output = $product->get_length() . ' x ' . $product->get_width() . ' x ' . $product->get_height() . ' ' . get_option( 'woocommerce_dimension_unit' );

    return $output;
};

add_shortcode('wc_product_dimensions', 'display_wc_product_dimensions');

… then you can use the shortcodes [wc_product_dimensions] and [wc_product_weight] in your text fields.

I implemented your approach, but unfortunately, it still isn’t working. I incorporated your code and attempted to use the shortcodes, but the front-end only displays “x x in and lbs.”.
