Bricks Version: 1.3.6 Browser: Edge - Version 96.0.1054.57 (Official build) (64-bit) OS: Windows 10.
If I put a logo on a container with a background, it looks fine in the builder, but on the live site, the design is all messed up. If I use an Image it works…
Also when adding the logo with drag n drop it doesn’t place it in the container selected, but beneath the container and I have to manually drag it in from the structure panel.
As far as I know, the Logo element is only intended to be used for your Site Logo.
When it works with the Image element, why don’t you use just this?
I do, but would still report the bug… If the logo element is only useful in the header, maybe it should only be visible when editing the header and not confuse people (me )
Thank you very much for your report! Can you please provide a real video instead of a gif next time? It’s tough to follow a low-quality gif (I really can’t see anything at all on my 32" 4k monitor), I cannot pause or rewind… a video makes it a lot easier. Thank you
I’ve tried to recreate this with Bricks 1.3.6 and the upcoming Bricks 1.3.7 to see if there is any difference, but I can’t reproduce it at all. The logo element works fine for me.
Can you provide a live link to see the “messed up design”?
Alright - I tried to replicate it on a testpage - didn’t work… i then imported the element from my mainpage and tried again - and it broke… i’ve attached both the working container version and the broke version. The only difference as far as i can see is the broke one has a headline which the other don’t have. Maybe you can see where it goes wrong here.
Also the builder canvas looks as it should, but the page doesn’t
thank you very much for the templates, but since the classes (and their styles) are not exported (which is already on our to-do list), it’s hard to fiddle out what’s wrong there because they don’t look as they are intended to look
But when I inspect the source code on your demo page, the working example looks correct, the not-working example looks completely messed and mixed up… Honestly? No idea what exactly went wrong there. But if the problem occurs again or continues to occur or you are somehow able to reproduce it, please make a video so we can follow it step by step. Deal?
