This great feature is used in many non-WordPress websites and increases the loading speed of pages by up to 70%. So if you add this feature to bricksbuilder, it would be really great. Of course, only one plugin has been made for this feature, which does not work well.
This will undoubtedly cause many users to migrate to bricksbuilder . Dear developers, please consider this feature. Improving website performance has always been important to you

I saw a case on one of the websites that used Load Ajax, it was great …
When the page was loaded in Ajax, the page moved from bottom to top and it felt great.Please watch this video :

Is this possible?

I’m trying to get this player to play music seamlessly across page loads, and as per the article apparently that only works if I load the pages by ajax.

Can anyone advise how I might be able to do this on my bricks built site?

I have used Barba.js for some custom built themes. I have not tested it with Bricks yet, but I’d try that direction if I was going to implement it today: https://barba.js.org/

Just tested this and it was literally just one toggle to get this working! Granted I’ve not got many other plugins installed yet, preliminary testing seems great and I now get seamless music playback as I navigate the site :grinning:

Did you find a solution to your question of having continuous audio playback with Sonaar in Bricks? I’m also looking at this. I’ve got Bricksforge, but haven’t experimented with it yet.

No, I encountered some issues after more testing so ended up having to resort to putting up with the jump on page change. Wasn’t a high enough traffic site to warrant the time and cost to investigate at the time, although I do want to revisit it and get it working.

Many users are requesting a more solid AJAX page loading solution in Bricks Builder. While Pjax (bricksforge) is appreciated, its limitations and bugs hinder its use for dynamic websites, especially those with:

  • Music/Video Streaming: Avoid interrupting playback with full page reloads.
  • Podcast Platforms: Enable seamless episode navigation without jarring refreshes.
  • Online Courses/Learning Platforms: Maintain smooth transitions between lessons and quizzes.
  • Interactive Data Visualizations/Dashboards: Update data without redrawing the entire page.

An improved solution with greater stability, compatibility, and customization options would greatly benefit these use cases and enhance Bricks Builder’s versatility.
