Jump to element on the Structure when clicking on the design AND different behaviour when clicking on the Structure element

I have this 2 issues that have to do with the usage of the Structure panel:

  1. When we click on an element on our design, I was hoping to find it quickly on the structure panel, but that’s not the case. Besides being highlighted in yellow, it should jump to it. Note that, when the parent container is not expanded, you will not find the element you’re looking for in the first sight. And with dozens of elements in your page, this becomes an issue.

  2. When you click in the element in the structure panel, on the design front, the builder scrolls to it and leaves it at the top. Wouldn’t it be better if would automatically position it in the middle of the screen, so that you could see what’s coming before and after it?

Let me know if this is something you struggle with.

I hope it was clear enough. If it’s not, let me know and I will share a video demonstration of the issue.
Thanks

Yes, this is very necessary, especially #1.

Please and thank you!!!
This drives me nuts, and i am surprised more people haven’t requested this…
Hoping to see this in v2.0!?!??!

So I realized this is actually now available as a toggle feature within native bricks. For anyone else that wants to enable it it is located under:
settings>builder>structure panel

  • then toggle on the “expand active element & scroll into view”
