Header templates can only be modified on their template page, while archive templates can be modified directly within the page where they are applied. This means that when either the page or template is modified later, the content is not synchronized. Is there a way to make archive templates behave like header and footer templates to centralize content changes?
if you setup your templates properly everything works from one place
usualy when creating header and footer tempalte you can just select the header or footer and no need to set the conditions
but for archive templates selecting archive is not enough setup your conditions properly or it may create issues
