Is it better to not use Automatic.css for consistency and bloat?

Hi all -

I am using Automatic.css but I am having doubts if this is useful or making more trouble.
It feels like you need to keep track of AdvancedThemer CSS and Automatic.css in the BricksBuilder.
Also does it create more bloat?

  • Does anyone else feel this way?
  • Does Automatic.css add value?

Thanks!

Core Framework is a lighter option.

I plan to spend some time on finding the settings for the least possible load yet being useful (at least, for my workflow) in ACSS and AT…

You can trim a lot of fat out of ACSS by turning features and utilities off that you don’t use. And I don’t think it will add bloat since it doesn’t process things when users visit, it’s just the CSS that is output, so it doesn’t slow page processing.

I’m not a big fan. Core Framework is, at least for me, a better option.

I have a basic stack of variables and create for each project the classes I need because each project has its own character!
