I’ve been following the instructions here: How to get your Instagram Access Token – Bricks Academy
Under “Step 4: Generate the access token,” it directs us to go to the Instagram account we want to link to. However, when we go under Settings > Apps and websites, we now see the message in this picture:
It reads: “The Instagram Basic Display API will be discontinued on December 4th, 2024. After that date, access to the Instagram Basic Display API and your historical usage of it will no longer be available. Download your information now if you’d like to keep it.”
(Note that it appears that I cannot accept the invite, but this is only true on Mobile where I took this screenshot from. I’m able to do it from desktop)
So what’s the future for this element?

My 2nd question is what are other people doing to show social feeds from places like Facebook, Twitter, Tiktok, etc. on their Bricks sites? I know that there are premium Wordpress plugins like WPSocialNinja. But I don’t know if that’s “best practice” for Bricks sites. (I imagine they involve plopping in an already-designed widget on the Gutenberg/Wordpress side?)
