The help page for getting an Instagram access token is out of date thanks to changes to the Facebook for Developers App Dashboard. I have been trying without success to find the new way to get an access token.
It would be good to have an update on the procedure linked from the above post once you have a solution.

This screenshot shows the new terminology (“Add more use cases”), none of which would seem to apply for getting an access token:

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. You now need to select Manage messaging & content on Instagram from the Content management category. We have updated the documentation accordingly.
Thank you for looking into this! Maybe I am missing something, but I don’t have the “Manage Content” option. Still waiting on Business Verification, is it possible that this is holding it up?
Yes indeed. My previous screen shot shows all the options that I have available.
