Inline Editing for Component Content in the Main Editor

First of all, thanks to the Bricks team for continuously pushing the builder forward :slight_smile:
I just had a discussion with a customer and i can feel his pain:

At the moment, if we use a component that contains a text element (e.g. a Rich Text or Heading), we need to jump into the component itself to edit its content. This works, but it can become a bit complicated when working on content-heavy pages with multiple components.

Our idea:
It would be extremely helpful if clicking on a text field inside a component allowed us to edit that content directly in the main editor without switching back and forth into the component definition.

Thanks a lot for considering - this would really improve components a lot

I’ve just had this exact conversation with a client this morning and came here to see if this has been requested already before submitting it myself. +1 vote for this feature!
